There is a wealth of knowledge available on almost any subject on the internet. Adoption of the internet gives people access to a multitude of information, news, and educational materials that can help them become more self-aware and evolve as people. Instantaneous global networking and communication are made possible by the internet. Getting online allows people to interact with each other, which promotes teamwork, communication, and idea-sharing. No country in the Indian subcontinent region has demonstrated outstanding internet adoption performance except Bhutan. In India and Nepal, the internet adoption rate saw a rapid surge amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while Sri Lanka experienced a considerable decline. As a result, both Nepal and India surpassed Sri Lanka in terms of internet adoption during this pandemic. Despite Bangladesh still suffering a relatively low internet adoption rate, there has been a noteworthy improvement in recent years.
