Regions with the highest Facebook users, As of January 2025

The regional data reveals striking disparities in Facebook’s global footprint, with Southern Asia dominating at 22.8% of global users (520 million), followed by South-Eastern Asia at 17.4% (398 million). These two regions alone account for over 40% of Facebook’s entire user base, highlighting the platform’s exceptional penetration in these densely populated areas. The Americas collectively represent approximately 27% of users, with Southern America (11.3%) and Northern America (9.7%) leading the western hemisphere.

Europe shows a relatively balanced distribution across its four regions, collectively accounting for about 12% of global users.
